Spark armazena as mensagens na máquina do Cliente

Opa, beleza galera? Obrigado!

Spark saves chat history locally (if it is not disabled). On Windows it is at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark\user\username@servername\transcripts. It’s a plain text xml. No compression. Or encryption, if that is what you meant.
Openfire can store history in the database independently of what Spark is doing (saving or not). Monitoring Service plugin is used for that.

If you go to Spark, File menu, Preferences, you can select Disable chat history. So then Spark won’t be saving history locally. You can also install Client Control plugin for Openfire and disable History settings in Client Management menu. But you have to first disable history. Because Client Control plugin only hides the setting, not the history itself.
