Spark Installation with custom installer

Hey community,

I love spark in combination with openfire and want to deploy it to the whole company. My question to this challenge is:

Can I zip the installation folder of spark to deploy it in an easy way? Of course I can because I tried it! - We only need spark for our windows clients.

But exists to this way disadvantages or issues? Or do I need further steps like registry entries or something else?

I think there is no disadvantege of using zipped version. Spark doesn’t really need anything to be installed on the system. At least i can’t think of any reason against that.
