Spark memory usage in Windows

Hello, I have searched to no avail on this issue.

We are using Spark 2.5.8 in various Windows versions (XP SP2, Windows 7, and most importantly, within sessions on our 2008 R2 Terminal Servers). Right now about 20-22 users on each server (only 2 servers) are running Spark, with each instance of the chat client running roughly 340-375k of memory. Is this really necessary? Most of these clients are sitting idle, but that memory usage is nearly instant upon starting of the application.

Is there anything we can do to reduce the memory footprint of this program?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer!
