We are an MSP with a client that has been running Spark since 2012. Their old instance is running on server 2008 with an OpenFire db and has been problematic any time the server reboots. We would like to hire someone to migrate that instance to a new server and hopefully ms sql in the process if anyone has time to take on the task.

how many users do you have? When you say problems with the embedded DB, what do you mean?
There are around 60 users.
When the server reboots it been problematic getting the spark application to run for quite a while. Sometimes restarting services gets it operational, this time not so much.
how large is the db file?
script file 1.1 gb
lob file 854mb
thats not bad…how much ram does the machine have and how much memory is openfire using?
8gb and it seems consume it all
what version of java and openfire are you running?
