The options below have ceased to exist in the higher versions 2.8.1 buld 902.
Options that no longer exist:

- Log out with reason
- Go out
=> Change Status message
=> In the spark icon
- Open
- Status
- Go out
To close the program just by opening the windows manager and closing spark.
As attached image.

Spark developers, do you intend to return these options or is there a parameter in the configuration file that can be activated?
Because the way it turned out, administrators or end users are unable to configure spark as needed.
Thanks.

The options might be controlled using the client control plugin. You may also need to update the plugin

Speedy is right.
And also check the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Spark\lib\spark-core-2.9.0.jar.
maybe you changed it?
Through this file, you can turn off some settings (including ‘exit’ and ‘exit by reason’) and if it differs from other jar files by date, then just reinstall Spark.

We need to clarify a few things. What version of Openfire and Client Control plugin do you use and what version of Spark is missing options? If you use the latest version of Openfire, Client Control plugin and Spark, then it should be fine. If you use old version of Client Control plugin, then some options will be missing in the latest version of Spark, because old version of Client Control doesn’t have all the settings that Spark expects to be there. In that case you either update Client Control plugin, if you can or uninstall it completely. If you can’t use latest version of Openfire/Client Control plugin, then you shouldn’t use Spark 2.9.0 until you are able to upgrade Openfire.

Hello.
No changes were made. Kept original.
But I believe that I already know what the problem is.
Openfire and plugin are out of date.
Thank you.

Hello.
Got it.
Reviewing openfire server and it is out of date. Openfire is with version 3.9.3 and the Client Control plugin is in version 1.2.0.
Is it possible to update the plugin with this version of openfire or will I have to update the openfire server as well?

Thank you.

Current Client Control version requires at least Openfire 4.0.0 http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/openfire/plugin-archive.jsp?plugin=clientControl
Updating from 3.9.3 to 4.5.3 will be a huge jump and can be problematic. Wouldn’t be surprised if direct upgrade to 4.5.3 will fail in some ways. Maybe incremental updating is a better option.
Explanation: upgrading Openfire
