Spark phone client plugin (1.1.2)

Hi;

Help needed for bringing up sip phone plugin to work.

Just install spark (2.8.1) in window 7, openfire is 4.0.3 running in Linux server. sip server is elastix.

  1. create openfire user1, and elastix extension 1000. mapping user1 and sip extension. testing result is ok and wireshark shows that registration is successful.

  2. with spark, login is ok. and phone enabled check box is checked, but status doesn’t change. (online or on the phone same as openfire session window)

  3. in the openfire phone tab window, user is enabled, but unregistered.

  4. from wiresharp, no sip messages from spark ip or openfire ip are sent out. seem that spark plugin don’t work. if deactivating plugin, no phone enabled check box in spark actions dropdown menu.

SIP plugin is broken since 2.8.0. If you need it, you should use 2.7.7 for now.

Same error in Spark 2-7-7.

  1. uninstall all spark 2-8-1 (Phone client 1.1.2)

  2. install spark 2-7-7 (but phone client plugin is 1.1.1)

I haven’t ever used it. Maybe it was broken longer than i thought. Can’t help with that.

How come there is no info or error logs in the openfire server to show these complains. looks like this is spark local issue complained by spark, not from Openfire. correct me if I am wrong.

Anyway, is there sip plugin for openfire 3.7. is it helpful to try sip plugin for openfire 3.7? downloaded sip plugin requires openfire 4 or above. please provide download link.
