Spark problems with status and messages

Hi, I am a Network administrator in a company.

  • I have a strange issue on one of my users who use spark 2.8.3. (we have 20 users)
  • user is online, and her status is show online for her but other users see that her status is offline. And every message she get will be like: ??? (question mark), So the user should push the online status manually to be really online.
  • When she is not behind her system. The system is displayed online.
  • New windows 10 installed
  • Even different directory has selected during setup spark.
  • Test different versions on windows 10, and each version creates a strange problem on this especial system.
  • Used Linux Platform
  • Other users use Windows 7 and have no problem
  • Of course, I’m using Windows 10 and I have not had any problems either.

So do you have any idea for these problems?

Maybe she has Invisble login set on Spark’s start screen. Not sure about the ??? messages. Maybe something is wrong with region settings on her Windows system.

You can try wiping her Spark profile.

You can wipe your Spark profile and start with a fresh one. Spark profile is here
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark
If you need your history, copy this folder:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark\user\username@servername\transcripts
And copy it back after you start with a fresh profile.

she is not invisible, and I am sure about this.
Wiping here profile didn’t fix this problem.

What happens if she logins with her user on another PC? And if you login with your user on her PC?
