Spark ram use

Hi, iam monitoring spark in my system and shows in the task manager 50mb of ram assigned to the application.

It is the second most consumming application in my system, so the question is, is it normal 50mb? Is there any way to light up a bit the client?.

On the right of your question you can see “More Like This” list of threads which describes your issue. It’s a java application, it will consume more ram than other applications, but it is running pretty well on a system with 512 MB of ram (Windows XP)
