I’ve been through a few forums regarding updates to the Spark client and am wondering if there are any upcoming release for the Spark IM client. Currently, the version is 2.5.8 and the last release date was November of 2007. I see from various blog posts that Spark is moving towards a flash/Adobe AIR based desktop client. I am probably missing something obvious, however, any updates would be greatly appreciated.
Oh. I dont know about moving to AIR as it seems Jive doesnt have a workpower to spent on Spark. So, now a few community members are making patches. You can compile your own version from the source code and check this out. There is no release date though. Btw, the last release was 2.6.0 Beta 2
