I’m using spark 2.6.3 (XP and Win7 clients - firewall off) and openfire 3.7.1. (running on a Windows 2008 server with firewall off). What’s been happening is that when I press the login button to spark (it doesn’t matter if the servername field is a DNS name or IP address - this happens for both). It returns “INvalid username or password” - however if I press “login” another once or twice it will eventually log in. Which users are finding annoying.
I half suspect this is due to LDAP not responding quick enough, but I’d like advice on the best way to trace and diagnose this, as it might not be what I suspect.
