I already created a option to disable “Start a Conference…”

I’m assuming this is the option your talking about.

Hi Joe,

That is the choice of which you speak, but which of the 4 files I download?.

Thanks brother and apologize for any inconvenience …

No problem, I uploaded a new “Spark Test.jar”. Its compiled with all your customization options.

Hi Joe,

I think I have another version I will try and tell you.

Thank you very much

How about including this feature (maybe even more extended) to the RC1 trunk? it makes sense to hide the configration and some tabs from the configuration dialog of the logon screen too.

That is an excellent suggestion.

Most of this is in testing. So far I haven’t broke anything yet. I’m not huge java guru. Most of the modification have been simple.

The accounts menu can be disabled with “ACCOUNT_DISABLED = true”.

I may look into disabling the “Advanced Tab” and hide the “Server” box for those who use the “HOST_NAME =” to set the server and don’t want it changed by the user.

Hi Joe, Disable/Enable Start a chat from menu don’t work with any version of spark, can you help me please?

all other options work fine but not that.

Tnx!

Hi Friends,

Could someone please tell me, How can I disable add user/group in spark, on whole of my network. I’m having a network of almost 50 nodes, do I have to modify spark.jar on each system or can it be done using some Group Policy ? If yes, how can it be done !

Please Help !

Regards,

Farhan

Hi Joe,

I edited the spark default propeties namely to add “START_CONFERENCE_DISABLED = true”

and then i saved it. But there was no effect in the spark client, the “start a conference” option

was still there.

I am very much thankful i you could give some of your modifications … thanks
