spark web times out and logs user off, how would I got about changing that?

Are you using BOSH? You may be running into some bugs that were fixed in the latest code.

I have enabled BOSH, and I am thinking that it might have solved the issue.

is BOSH required to be enabled for sparkweb?

No. SparkWeb currently supports three connection methods, each with different benefits and downsides. BOSH is nice because it doesn’t require opening additional ports on your firewall, for example.

so how would I go about trouble shooting this time out issue that logs my users off?
