Felipe,

Spark is available under a free license but is not Open Source. In the near future, we’'ll also be releasing an open API for Spark.

What language did you write it in???

Spark is 99% Java. There is small amount of native code for each platform so that the integration is tighter (system tray support in windows, etc).
