Please note that SparkWeb is an old, unmaintained project. I strongly advice against using this project.
As alternatives, there are various web clients available that you can use. Although you can run them as stand-alone entities, Openfire makes it easy to use some of these clients by providing Openfire plugins that wrap these clients. Look, for example, at the inVerse and Candy plugins.
