Hi All,
I have managed to break the fronted of openfire and the database end of the jabber server into two separate RPMS. I am using version 3.6.2.
I also wrote a bash script using expect to generate self signed certificates. I see in the Server Certificates module it generates the DSA and the RSA certificates. I can click on generate those certificates so that it generates them and that works but that is additional step that I don’t want.
Here is the problem:
If I generate the RSA and the DSA by hand the interface does not recognize the certificates. So my question is: Is this generated and stored by into the database? If so where is it stored?
I have followed the instructions on creating the SSL certificates and importing the certificates. I just want to use the basic RSA and DSA keys for testing. The testing will be done on port 5222 and 5223. So they are self signed certificates.
I have attached my error.log for review.
