We use smart cards for authenticating our users in AD based on Windows 2008 R2. Forest level is Windows 2008 R2. Workstations are Windows 7.
I made configuration of SSO so that the user logged in by username and password receives appropriate credentials from kinit and proceeded further to openfire server authentication. But when the user uses smart card for login and types PIN (not password) SSO does not work as needed. Manual issuing command kinit performs password asking. Well there’s no such thing like password when using smart cards authenticatioin.
So, I need your help on that!
Is it possible to use smart cards for windows authentication and for sso in spark/openfire?
