Hello!! you are have plan to convert the library to kotlin for the multiplatform that offer Kotlin in the new update!!

Regards!!!

  • The used Smack version, which can be retrieved viaSmackConfiguration.getVersion()
  • The full exception and its stacktrace
  • An XMPP trace of the exchanged stream elements between client and server, which can be obtained by setting SmackConfiguration.DEBUG to true
  • The relevant code parts (please do not post whole source files!)

Converting all of Smack code to Kotlin is an enormous task and I haven’t heard an argument why, so I don’t see the point. Especially since Kotlin, like many other JVM bytecode based languages, is designed with Java Interoperability in mind.
