Syncronization Problem?

Hello,

I have installed jive messenger in my company, apparently it worked well, except for a smal problem. Sometimes, online users, appear offline in the client. Anyone had this problem?

Server: JiveMessenger 2.1.1

Clients: Gaim 1.1.3

Thanks,

Ricardo Costa

What does the server admin console show for their status?

yes, i have notice such thing too. After sign off -> sign on all contacts show their presence correctly. Maybe this will be fixed with the large shared roster FIX in next release (or you can try latest daily build). We are thinking to try last build at our company if new release are not to come soon:) Well, i think new release date will be a frequent question at live chat again:)

I am also having the same problem.

Hey guys,

Could you be more specify on how to reproduce the problem? Are you using shared groups? Anything in the error.log? Could you try with the latest nightly build and confirm if the problem still persists?

Thanks,

– Gato

Hey albert,

From the stack trace I see that you are not using the latest nightly build. Many fixes have been made to shared groups so you may want to use the latest nightly build.
