The Ignite Realtime feed is currently unavailable

Since 3.9.3 and now 3.9.10 the admin console always says feeds not available.

How did this get screwed up and how to I fix it?

This is a side effect of igniterealtime.org going to https. Certificates problem. Tracked here:

It is debatable whether those rss feeds are needed in the Admin Console at all. One can disable them by adding a system property:

rss.enabled

with a value false

Which i have done the day they show up in the Admin Console

I have the same issue with Openfire version 4.0.4

Do you get any related errors in the logs?
