Has anyone had any luck using Thunderbird 15 to connect to an Openfire instance yet?
We’ve got a long running 3.7.1 server with full SRV record setup that works fine with Pidgin and most other IM clients…
Been trying to get Thunderbird 15 XMPP to work, but I haven’t stumbled on the right combination yet I guess.

How to Disable please?
I can’t find in Openfire configuration panel.
The documentation I found said to set sasl.mechs to PLAIN, although that didn’t work for me. I also set it in the openfire.xml, but that didn’t work either.
So I’m either not disabling DIGEST-MD5 properly, or Thunderbird has a different problem.
