Translator plugin

Hello all,

I am attempting to use the translator plugin. I added it to spark via Spark–>Plugins–>Available plugins.

I restart Spark and I am able to see the drop down to allow English --> Spanish etc…

When I send a message to another user selecting translate, the message does not get sent.

I clicked on the plugin readme file and the change log and I get :

Overview

The plugin allows for blocking of file transfers dependent on file type or users.

Installation

Simply install plugin via the Plugin Viewer in Spark

The changelog displays the following:

1.0.1 – September 19th, 2006

  • Moved over to Spark 2.0 code base.
    1.0.0 – February 9th, 2006

  • Initial release.
    Could someone point me towards some documentation as this readme seems like its for a different plugin?

Readme seems to be off, but there is not much to read about it. It should just work as you tried. It worked for me with the latest SVN version of Saprk a week ago.

I guess I have a firewall issue.

Do you know if the request to google translator services is a non-standard port?

I couldnt see a failure in the spark logs.
