I’m having an issue with a user that can login, see everybody, but nobody can see that person. They don’t even appear in the offline list. They are in right security group and all, but I’m seeing some weird stuff with their userid. I think there may be some extra AD stuff this user has or something. Here is an error message I am seeing in the error log.

Also in the group summary, there is a * next to their name and at the bottom of the list, it says:
- Note: Remote users or entities should accept presence subscriptions automatically.
As to the AD stuff I mentioned, when I use ldapsearch for this person’s ID, it seems like I get two responses. One is the regular account and the other looks like additional mail information. It’s really odd. Any ideas?
