Unable to access Openfire 3.9.1 Web UI after server migration

I recently migrated our old Openfire 3.6.4 server to a new one with Openfire 3.9.1 installed. I followed the instructions from http://community.igniterealtime.org/docs/DOC-1994 and all seems to have gone well so far. I was able to get through the initial Web UI setup stages successfully and was able to test the settings at each page with no issues. So basically all went well and just when i thought it was almost done i received the following after logging into the Web UI, be aware i am a novice with openfire and took on this project as a learning kurb so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Seems to be a Java crash. I would suggest restart the openfire service and that should fix it.

Already tried as well as rebooting the server as well, no luck.

Backup the database and try doing a clean install…Clean installs are always better than upgrades…you never know what mix of old and new code could concoct !

There may be still some old jars in libs/ or old plugins.

Backup, cleaning, fresh install and then restore of everything except libs/ and plugins/ should work.
