I am unable to connect to the openfire server. I have installed openfire on my machine and trying to connect to openfire from the web-browser of another machine by typing in the address blab:5222. Blab is the name of the server as depicted in this image http://i.stack.imgur.com/SGzx3.jpg . Why it is that, I am unable to connect. I tried putting off the firewall but the result is the same.
Basically I wanted to chek if I can make a new user by registering to the openfire server. Also,when I ping 127.0.0.1:5222 I get **Ping request could not find host 127.0.0.1:5222. Please check the name and try again. ** Why is that ?
What do I need to do to connect to openfire server from another machine ?
