Unable to create chat room

Hi,

I’ve got OpenFire running and configured, everything seems to work except:

in Mac OSX iChat, right clicking on a contact and hitting ‘invite to chat…’ opens a box, but when a message is typed, an error pops up saying

“could not connect to chat12341231233 because the server could not be found”

I have not observed any other issues with this set up.

What needs to be set up for this functionality to work?

I’m pretty sure the previous install of openfire we had, did not exhibit this symptom.

Any help at all is appreciated.
