I have successfully installed openfire starting with version 3.4.3 and now running 3.4.5 What has been happening lately is that users are unable to login to the openfire server. They are getting an invalid username/password message. I am also unable to login to the web console. Restarting the service/server doesnt help. The only solution I have been able to find is, running the setup wizard again by changing setup from true to false in openfire.xml. After going through the wizard succesuflly but just hitting save/continue on everything since the information is retained, users can log in fine.
It apears as though the connection to LDAP is somehow lost so it cant authenticate anylonger. After going through the wizard the connection is restored again for alittle while.
