Upgrade from wildfire to openfire - No admin in browser

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help with this. I have just upgraded from Wildfire 3.2.x to Openfire 3.0.0. When I click on launch admin, no page is displayed. Is there a simple fix…I followed the install guide to the letter…

Hi Stephen,

does it work to open a browser manually and open http://127.0.0.1:9090/ within on your Windows server?

Thanks for the reply. No it does not work from the server…I can press the launch admin from the server console but, I get page cannot be displayed @ http://127.0.0.1:9090

The other thing is, within the Openfire Console, I don’'t see the:

Admin console listening at:

http://bc006:9090

https://bc006:9091

It shows nothing after Openfire 3.0.0

So, I just copied the old wildfire 3.2.4 back over the top…

Any other suggestions…?

Hi Stephen,

you should at least see some errors in the openfire\logs\ directory unless you did overwrite them with the 3.2.4 log files.

I will do the upgrade again tomorrow and have a look at the logs…However, after I did the upgrade, some of the users who were in early, claimed that they were being logout of spark every few minutes! Have you heard of this before…
