Upload and stream videos with red5

Hi,

Being a media server, red5 can be used to upload videos and stream videos.

Can the red5 plugin be used for these features?

If these features aren’t supported, can I extend the plugin to enable it and handle permissions?

It does have a file upload feature (org.jivesoftware.openfire.plugin.red5.Red5Upload) that puts files in the transfer folder, but no permissions

Please feel free to extend it . Just post your changes here.

You will need to move the uploaded files to the streams folder to enable Red5 stream them to flash applications.

The video recorder/player applications does an upload/stream.
