User Service plugin tab does not appear in Openfire admin console

Hi,

I am deploying userservice.jar version 1.3.0 and the corresponding tab is not visible, although the admin console plgins tab shows this plugin as correctly deployed and running.

Actually, the plugin jsp specified in plugin.xml (user-service.jsp) is not present in the plugin folders.

Am I doing anything wrong?

OK I found it. Just in case someone has the same issue, the plugin page is under Server - Server Settings . It is the last menu option.

May I suggest this to be a little better documented in the plugin readme? May be changing the configuration instructions, from:

“Access to the service is restricted with a “secret” that can be viewed and set from the User Service page in the Openfire admin console”

to something like:

"Access to the service is restricted with a “secret” that can be viewed and set from the User Service page in the Openfire admin console, This page can be found under “Server - Server settings”.
