hi im having this problem since i downloaded the latest version of openfire (i had 5.2.x)linked to an OpenLDAP server. the users are not updating the status of other users… so in other words if ‘user a’ connects and then ‘user b’ connects, user a wont see user b connected… if user a disconncets and then reconnects he then will see ‘user b’ connected… now i’ve tried numerous things and the thing that worked for me was going to the user computer and sending authorization requests, after accepting the request the status updated perfectly …but it only worked for one day, the next day users had same problem, i did the same thing again and it worked again… but i wont be doing everyday this …
