Would like to know if there is a way to setup Openfire to communicate with GoogleVoice using the asterisk-im plugin.
Currently using asterisk to communicate with GV thru the jabber.conf & gtalk conf files as a trunk on asterisk and it not work so well, since asterisk uses the jabber.conf I’m thinking it would be a better way to let Openfire be the connection for both IM/ telephone/Video for GV and allow the asterisk-im to be the connecting path for all extensions on asterisk server that wish to use the GV truncks.
Or is my line of thinking that OpenFire is just for connect something like spark to asterisk and nothing else?
