vCards via Spark

There is a plugin for OpenFire (LDAP vCard Avatar) which allowed you to upload avatars from Spark even if you had OpenFire linked to Active Directory. However, it no longer appears to be working as upon attempting to upload an avatar I get the message “Server does not support VCards. Unable to save your VCard.”

I tried restarting the plugin but it has made no difference. Does it no longer work with later versions of OpenFire (currently running 3.4.5)? Is there another method for users uploading avatars in this scenario?

This is a feature that is now built in to the Openfire server. First remove the plugin and its folder it created. Then go to your system properties and make sure the property ldap.override.avatar is set to true.
