Very High Firefox CPU usage with Spark Web

I am seeing very high CPU usage in firefox when I connect to sparkweb.

Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Ubuntu.

Used a clean profile with no extensions.

Anyone else experience this ?

I see this behaviour too.

The High CPU usage only starts after you start typing a message to someone.

I’'m running Firefox 2.0.0.1+1-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 7.04 (as it is so far!).

We just tried Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Windows and this problem doesn’'t happen there.

Maybe it is a bug in the Firefox build on Ubuntu systems.
