Hi,

are you looking for a web-based chat? Or what kind of web login are you interested in?

Wildfire 3.2.2 supports http-bind, so JWChat should work with it.

Hi,

I’'ve configred wildfire 3.1.1 server into my ubuntu edgy server using gaim like client.

Some many times , I need to connect to the “company chat” from other sites out of my head quarters or delegations…in those sites is impossible con establish a vpn connection to wildfire server, because of this, It’'d be neccesary to configure a web access…

Then, you tell me that 3.2.2 version can establish the connection?

Hi,

web-based connections to Wildfire are possible also with Wildfire 3.1.1 but there you need to run also a Jabber-HTTP-Bind component which is now included in Wildfire 3.2.

You need additional software like JWChat to use the HTTP binding service. Wildfire does not yet include a web-gui, so even with 3.2 there’'s no out-of-the-box solution. Wildfire Enterprise customers may also try Sparkweb, see http://www.igniterealtime.org/forum/thread.jspa?threadID=24744 .

Hi,

When will be included into wildifire version?

Hi,

as I am still using 3.1.1 ( 3.2.2 seems not stable enough for me) I found a Java webclient which is easy to setup (just zip into a folder and start) and easy to customised. Maybe try this until you want to use the 3.2 version of wildfire.

Look at http://jeti.jabberstudio.org/ and download the jeti Applet at the bottom left.
