I have Ubuntu server 10.04.
Installed java6, apache2, mysql, php and all need.
Then i installed openfire 3.6.4. Configured via web. Restart openfire server, default local base. And thats all, i can’t get via web to login page.
If i set false i can restart and get to web install, this is syclic.
When you say you can’t get to login page, what error do you get?
i can login now, but i can go to web page first 3 minutes after openfire starts.
and i have 1 more question, can openfire use proxy? i can run icq transport without proxy server (with authentication).
or ubuntu server have something like microsoft firewall client?

Hi,
you may want to run “iptables -L” to show the current active firewall rules on any recent linux system. Aynhow you may want to ask in a Linux or Ubuntu forum for more details about the firewall.

I don’t quite understand, is your original issue gone or not. Are you saying that you are able to login only for the first 3 minutes after Openfire starts and after that not? Again, what error do you get when you are not able to login?

i can’t get to openfire web page, then i can open it, dont know why so long openfire restarts ( i’ll try reinstall my server and openfire
