May i know the tentative timeline by which the Openfire 5.0.0 stable version is getting released as it is based on OJDK 17 and we require it in our project.
Soon-ish. Days rather than weeks.

I used this 5.0.0 alpha version but it seems none of the plugins currently available are compatible with this, it this true ?
I’m not sure if none of the plugins are compatible, but quite a few do need updates. We got these in the works, but haven’t released them yet, as they are typically not compatible with older versions of Openfire. It doesn’t make sense to release such a plugin before Openfire 5.0.0 is released.
One more query, will the same code base of version 5.0.0 be compatible to create a docker image on java 21 ?
