I use Netscape Ldap server as a Ldap server in the Jive and Mysql as a database. However nothing is recorded in the database. I can see users from ldap server in the admin console.
I also don’'t see groups from ldap groups even in admin console.

I also use the the Netscape/iPlanet/SUN whatever LDAP server.
You won’'t see a lot in the database. If you allow users to keep their buddy lists on the server, you should see an entry for each user along with a pointer to the group they created. Other than that not much will change.
