Why this plugin is discontinued? | bug

Hi

As VoIP becomes more and more popular I’m find this plug “kill” suprising…

Any plans for a reboot? Im sure this revival will be much appreciated!

We use it in our env. But it has some bugs such as the presence changes during a live call from on the phone to on line after about 1.5 minutes… Any work around this bug? We use spark as the client.

It hasn’t been killed intentionally. There is just noone working on it since Jive Software opensourced their projects and left them here on their own. A few volunteers try to maintain Openfire, Spark and Smack. Unless someone steps in to maintain and develop this plugin, it will stay in this state.
