Wildfire 2.6.2 + JAJC = problem with LDAP authentication

I set up Wildfire 2.6.2 server in my LAN. Everything seems fine – one can connect using domain accounts, all accounts are listed in AdminConsole and so on…

But there is a problem with some clients. Miranda, and Pandion work perfect (especially Pandion). But Exodus, PSI and JAJC can’'t connect to the server.

Here are three strings from the debug log on the server, written after failing to connect with JAJC:

  1. 2006.05.26 18:01:40 Connect Socket[addr=/192.168.114.214,port=1832,localport=5222]

  2. 2006.05.26 18:01:40 Logging off bsclnt15.irkutsk.bnk.ru/11d08997 on org.jivesoftware.wildfire.net.SocketConnection@1584be7 socket: Socket[addr=/192.168.114.214,port=1832,localport=5222] session: org.jivesoftware.wildfire.ClientSession@1e9d0cc status: 1 address: bsclnt15.irkutsk.bnk.ru/11d08997 id: 11d08997 presence:

The most strange thing is that this JAJC (and other listed clients) connected the same server without any problem before using LDAP.

Please, give me some advices how to solve the problem.

In case you still haven’'t found a solution: in JAJC you need to check “Use plain text passwords” in account properties.
