Wildfire 3.2.2 issues

Hey everyone,

I’'ve been using Wildfire, version 3.2.2 for a while now and everyonce in awhile it seems to cause all kinds of havoc with my Apple Xserve (Intel dual xeon) server.

We run a mixed environment where we’'re pretty evenly split with about half macs and half pcs - a total of about 45 computers.

I’‘ve setup ldap and that seems to work like a charm. User’‘s can’‘t seem to transfer files to one another but I beleive that’'s a known issue?

In the Wildfire console, I get these errors:

Hi,

do you see an error or any other messages in the server log files which are related to a failing file transfer?

File transfer is usually a client feature, so I’'m not sure if one can help you in the Openfire forum - the Spark forum may be a better place.

2007.04.30 12:33:14 org.jivesoftware.wildfire.handler.IQvCardHandler.handleIQ(IQvCardHandler.java:9 1)

java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: VCard provider is read-only. is caused by a client which tries to change its vCard but as you are using LDAP the vCard is read-only and clients can not modify it. Openfire does not log which client causes the trouble so you should ignore this error.
