Wildfire and JWChat

I have JWCHAT configured and running using the 3.0.0 alpha build. everything seems to work well except two items. I can enter a conference room name into the proper areas and it will join the room, but it will not search. (conference.myserver.mycompany.com is NOT in DNS, could that be the problem?) and the user search feature does not work either. Is this due to the way JWChat calls these features or is it that Wildfire doesn’'t support the features from a web client?

I followed all instructions here on JWChat and that is how I got it working, but these two things are strange.
