Windows 7 Issues

Hey,

In my enviroment we have a mix of Windows XP and Windows 7 32 bit computers. I am running Openfire 3.7.0 and a Spark client 2.5.8.

The problem I am having is that on the Windows 7 computers in the chat window a user will type a message and send it but the message doesn’t appear to be sent. It is still in the chat box where you type the message. If we close out of the chat window and open it back up it shows the message as being sent to the user.

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. Windows XP workstations work with no problems it’s just the Windows 7 computers. I have tried java 6 and 7 but same issue. Also happens if I try to upgrade to client version 2.6.3.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think this is a known issue, and possibly has been fixed in the beta/nightly builds (i’m not 100% on that, someone who knows more will have to confirm).

I think deleting the Spark profile from AppData will fix it for the time being.
