Ihave installed the latest java from java.com and am trying to install spark. It says it can’t find java. When I locate it it says it still a jVM can’t be found. How can I install spark? I need it for work
Spark 2.6.3 uses an older revision of Java 6, the latest version will probably not work.
Better to download the full installer (offline one) that includes the correct JRE, or install an older version. The one bundled with the offline installer is 6.0.18

you may just need to set the java_home variable or make sure you have java added to your path.
