I have installed openfire server 3.7 because 3.9 would not run on windows server 2012. 3.7 runs until I log off the server. I did run the service cmd and made sure the service is running. when I log off the conection to openfire closes to the client but when I log back into the server the openfire server service is running but will not launch the admin console until I reinstall 3.7 again. I need help.
If have 3.9.1 on Server 2012 (STD) Since the end of Febraury. And didn’t encounter any issues yet (However a very small enviroment, around 50 Users)
I have tried installing 3.9.1 on Windows 8.1. Update (which should be equal to Windows Server 2012 R2 Update). And it works, also via the service.
