Windows Xp - LAN - Openfire 3.9.3 , Spark 2.6.3 - failed to start phone

Hello,

On windows Xp Sp3 machines I want to setup Voice & Text Chat.

I installed Openfire 3.9.3 and enabled plugins jingle nodes, SIP phone plugin.

When I start Spark 2.6.3 , I am getting error “Failed to start phone”

I checked SIP settings , I had given my local machine’s IP 192.168.0.1 as SIP server, is this correct ?

Do I need to install a SIP server to work this ?

  1. Do I need to use Spark 2.5.8 instead of 2.6.3 ?

  2. I have 2 LAN setups both have 1 internet connection respectively. The internet connections get dyanmic IP each time so I used noip.com 's service to get host names.

Can I do Voice & Text chat facility between these two LANs ? Do I need a SIP server or XMPP server installed for Voice between these two networks ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
