First of all I would like to thank all XIFF developers for the effort they put into this, making life easier to all Flex programmers out there. I’m currently working on an AIR app that needs to implement a small Gtalk client and I’m wondering if this is possible with the existing XIFF release.
I saw a lot of threads on this subject, unfortunately the information is very dispersed and it’s hard to keep track of all patches and modified classes in the discussions. I would very much welcome an overview of the current situation with XIFF and Gtalk, and if I’m not asking too much a brief tutorial of how to get things up-and-running. If there is any way I can help with the project (coding, testing, providing feedback), please let me know.
