Yet another Py<im-name>t doesn''t work, help me thread

Hi

Im trying to Install a Wildfire 2.6.2 Server with PyMSNt and PyICQt on a OpenSUSE 10.1 Linux with MySQL 5, Python 2.4.2, Twisted 2.1.0, pyssl 0.6, pycrypto 2.0.1.

The intallation of wildfire worked fine and i could configure both transports so far, that they are displayed in the wildfire session window, but without name category and type.

I compared my config with these tutorials, but i cant find my mistake.

Ensure that your ports are correct in Wildfire and yoru different transports.

Hi

Thanks for your help. I changed everything you mentioned, but it didn’'t help.

Both transports made a spooldir even with just a “.” with their jid name.

The ports are right and i think the transport won’'t be displayed in Wildfire if there were wrong.

My hosts file looks like that:

127.0.0.1 localhost

  1. special IPv6 addresses

::1 localhost ipv6-localhost ipv6-loopback

fe00::0 ipv6-localnet

ff00::0 ipv6-mcastprefix

ff02::1 ipv6-allnodes

ff02::2 ipv6-allrouters

ff02::3 ipv6-allhosts

10.49.100.2 jabber.hamburg-de.wm.local jabber msn.jabber icq.jabber

The zone and the aliases are also in the local dns server.

The hole system runs in a test enviroment and i’'ll install it on a new maschine with cryptic passwords for productive use;)

Hi

I launched wildfire as root user, then i did the Webbasedsetup again.

After that i just used small letters for the secret.

Both transports are working now. But the online/offline status of Transport contacts doesn’'t work.

This Thread was also a good hint:
