Mina 2.0.7 in openfire 4.0.3 has high CPU bug

Openfire is internally using apache mina 2.0.7 version.
Any plan to upgrade mina version?
Mina 2.0.7 & 2.0.8 has this bug https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-1084.

I think the bug was only in 2.0.8, that’s why Openfire didn’t get updated.

No, they are different issues
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-1084 (Duplicate of DIRMINA-988) is having a problem in AbstractIoBuffer.shrink method.
Other bugs you have mentioned are having High CPU problem but with some other location.
Please see the comments section of 1084 bug, they have acknoledged problem is there <= 2.0.8 version.

How to convert this as JIRA issue? Looks like I cannot create a JIRA in openfire, only developers has to convert this discussion and convert it to issue/bug?
Can someone help me converting this issue into JIRA case, in case any other way available?
