This should be posted in the gateway support forum.
All I can see happening there is that the socket is being closed because UUX can be sent. I might need the logs from before that occurred to get a feel for what’s going on. =)
What was the last version that worked for you? – would you mind sharing your entire debug log with me? (email it to me so you don’t have to show information you don’t want to to “everyone”)
I change my password in debug.log because I tried to register in MSN again. I sent to your email. I forgot to mention, the last version that worked was 1.2.3 with openfire 3.5.2.
Yes we are having the same problem and I need a fix ASAP since this is how we talk to our customer who uses MS communicator. My boss is not too happy as of now. This all started for us around noon today we were on openfire 3.5.2 then all of the sudden the gateway IM wasn’t working anymore so I thought well here is my chance to upgrade, I did and the gateways for AIM and Yahoo came back but not MSN when you do the connection test it goes through but nothing in spark.
you were on 3.5.2 with gateway-im 1.2.4c??? If so, it’s incompatible I think. I read in other threads. You’ll have to downgrade gateway-im to 1.2.3 again.
So, we have the same problem. Let’s wait for “the guys” try to solve this one. I already sent my debug.log to @Daniel Henninger. If you can, send yours too.
I also can’t use MSN anymore. I get the following Login error:

No protocol??? If I’m reading that right, it’s as if java doesn’t know what https is! These are very useful debug logs btw! Thank you. What OS is this? What version of java do you have installed?
