Openfire Pade Meetings - v1.0.0 - Issue with 2+ users

Hi community!

Hoping for some guidance here. I have Openfire 4.6.0 installed on a Windows Server 2016 VM environment with absolutely no issues; until today.

Currently, we have Pade Meetings v1.0.0 installed and have experienced no issues prior to today. Peer2Peer seems to work fine in terms of audio & video. The moment a 3rd user joins (nullifying peer2peer), audio & video are completely lost in the meeting.

  • No NAT
  • Have attempted disabling all firewalls to ensure no blocked traffic
  • Prior to disabling the firewall; all of the required ports were open: 7443, 10000-20000, etc.
  • This was working 100% with absolutely no issues and no changes to our network prior to today.
  • Focus session is live and seems to be working fine; due to peer2peer.

Would appreciate any assistance!

Hi all,

Ic an confirm that the issue is browser based… i know Pade is not user friendly with Firefox; and prefers Chromium based browsers… however, this no longer seems to work on Google Chrome - not sure where the change occurred.

Microsoft Edge remains to work.

Hi Dale,

I appreciate the response. Yes; i can validate that Chrome v87.xx no longer accepts RTP.

Unfortunately, i have attempted the pre-release V1.1.0 offocus & ofmeet plugin; no luck. JVB & Focus user do not seem to connect to the sessions.

I am running & testing on a Windows environment.

Any ideas?

It not enough information to help you. Look at your log files and see if you have errors that might give a clue

It seems as though my focus user is not connecting with the pre-release version of 1.1.0:
In addition, JVB user is not connecting; not sure if reliant on focus session being online.
